The Art of designing the embroidery creation has been a staple of our Families Embroidery Heritage and was the only way an embroidery could be created prior to the computer age. The design was enlarged 6 times larger than the finished size and every other stitch was hand drawn in place. While we have adapted to today’s technology, we still to this day, draw our enlargement, dictate hand stitching areas, as in the flower and mountains, indicate fine details with penetration marks indicated, as in all the outlines and stitch direction is indicated for all corners and structures.
